With the ContentServer4Storage and Migration4ArchiveLink, two KGS products made the leap onto the current leaderboard of the Initiative IT-Mittelstand.
The leaderboards of the Initiative IT-Mittelstand were awarded in 41 categories this year; at the CeBIT the IT Innovation Award 2014 was awarded for the 11th time on March 11. An over 100-member expert jury of professors, scientists, industry and IT experts and journalists evaluated over 5,000 products according to the criteria of innovation content, practical relevance, marketability and suitability for small and medium enterprises. For the first time, users could also evaluate each innovation directly.
Two KGS Software products can also be found among the “Best of 50” this year. The KGS ContentServer4Storage and KGS Migration4ArchiveLink leaped into the ranks of award winners. The success of KGS Software for SMEs is based on the fact that many SAP user companies are currently in the process of consolidating their IT environments to use SAP as their central system. For this purpose, KGS has developed appropriate software tools and solutions.
For document management and the redesign of archiving processes in SAP, KGS offers the ContentServer4Storage: a memory-based system that makes any documents centrally searchable via SAP. The successful products, especially in the SME sector, also include the KGS Migration4ArchiveLink: a software for the simple and controlled implementation of data and document migrations for all ArchiveLink certified archive systems. The reason for this is that there are currently numerous archive migrations taking place in the SAP environment – a growing trend that will continue in the coming year.
